Who wasn’t asking for a gritty remake of Escape from New York? Frankie Grillo is almost Snake Plisskin and LA is almost New York and pantsless is almost legal… fine; it was wrong at grandmas funeral but we are getting close.
Loved the gritty Punisher style storytelling that goes beyond one families struggles and into the entirety of the town going crazy.
Hated the unraveling of the ending. Just too much crammed in and loses focus in my opinion.
