Oh, The Faculty, how I love thee. Robert Rodriguez’s attempt at teen horror paid off in a big way. I love the idea of aliens infiltrating a school to start an infestation and the idea that drugs and partying pays off. The unlikely team of stereotypes was a fun facet to the onslaught of humanity as their last hope. The teachers themselves were horrifying as grotesque squid creatures and the who’s who was a fun game. Josh Harnett is dreamy, not gonna lie, but we have Laura Harris and Famke Jansen too …so yeah.
Loved the music and the Robert Rodriguez sensibilities. Hated how dated this became after the minute it came out. Still, though, a fun time to be sure.
