Have you ever eaten somebody that just made you jump higher and run faster? No? Well then; grab a fork and jump into this terrain-trudging beast. We get colonialism and native folklore combined to make a great story and execution. the dichotomy of heroism and cowardice are front and center in the cannibalistic endeavor into the unknown paths of the American frontier. there is a satirical element to this movie but it is second-hand to the horrors of a semi-vampiric life on the trail.
Loved Guy Pierce, Robert Carlyle and David Arquette as frontiersmen on the hunt and defense. Hated the nonsensical pieces and the ending could’ve had more spark.
