“Friday the 13th Part 8: Jason Takes Manhattan” is the cinematic equivalent of bringing a machete to a cocktail party on a cruise ship—unnecessary, over-the-top, and somehow totally delightful. Jason’s idea of sightseeing is questionable, but hey, at least he commits! The movie’s logic leaks faster than my sangria glass, yet I couldn’t stop watching (or refilling) as we sank. It’s cheesy, it’s chaotic, and by the end, you’ll be rooting for Jason to punch heads into trash cans.
