Ok, look. I’m an old school lover of Big Red so I’m biased. I loved the books and previous films. This movie was a straight shot to the heart as a contained and fun story about old Appalachian folklore. Not a whole lot of BPRD inner-workings or other paranormal agents but we sure get to have a good romp with the big guy.

Loved the vintage atmosphere and the monsters.
Hated how convoluted the story played out on the big screen.
