Man, I really loved this. The book was insane and the movie actually did it; it successfully bridged the gap between the Shining book and Shining movie while being totally unique and faithful to the source material. Yes, the ending was adjusted but I couldn’t have been happier with it. The characters were all perfectly cast and Danny and Abra were incredible together.
Loved the Tiny Town Train inclusion and Rebecca Ferguson as Rose the Hat. Also really appreciated the visual of the vampires cycling out. Hated the torture porn scene of Bradley’s death but it did make the baddies seem badder.
