High rise/ high hopes. The Necronimicon once again unleashes them bloodthirsty demons upon a small locale and the bloodbath that follows was a perfect refreshing cocktail of chaos and maelstrom. Mama was incredible and the demonic manifestations were tastefully grotesque.

My favorite thing about this film is it embraces the cheesy without coming across as cheesy. Loved the effects of the determination of the Mom and how this played more like a sequel to Fede Alvarez’s entry. Hated the kids but understand their necessity in the story.
