I really liked this flick. I know it sent the train off the rails hurtling towards an audience of innocent onlookers while careening over all hope this will play out successfully but I still take my brutal MM where I can get it. I didn’t hate the “Evil Dies Tonight” mantra but thought it was done better in 4. It did stand as a deciding factor on whether or not Myers is still human which I enjoyed but the playout…eh not so much.

Highlight was the opening fire massacre. Loved that DDG understood the importance of atmosphere with the festive surrounding but I hated that Mikey’s motivation was skewed by the story. Also didn’t like Laurie taking a backseat in the hospital.
