I love this movie. The animated opening and the heavy metal soundtrack amidst the 80s horror sensibilities and setting really speak to me. Summoning demons is also a beloved past time of mine and, like Angela, I look really good in a black funeral dress.
Loved the 80s gritty textures and themes.
Hated the low budget limitations. Not saying they didn’t nail it but I think this is a classic and would loved to have seen it with more investment. Oh well, there’s always the remake (jk).
