Brad Dourif for the win on this. That jump-scare in the hospital corridor (you know which one) was next level too. The duality of the incarcerated dead priest was awesome and George C Scott was a brute. There were some great subtle creepy scenes as well (I’m looking at you grandma on the ceiling). I also appreciated the law enforcement angle as opposed to the clergy pov as something fresh.
Loved that it went away from the Regan story to do its own thing. Hated that it gets a little hard to keep track of once the culprit is revealed.
