Saw this movie when it first came out and instantly connected to it. It goes from silly Ghostbusters to psychotic Jeffrey Combs all wrapped in a sinister grim reaper plot. The entrepreneurial ventures of Michael J Fox’s Frank Bannister was such a fun aspect and a serial killer from beyond the grave was an insane addition. Loved Peter Jackson’s horror sensibilities (more from Dead Alive than LOTR) and unfolding story with many twists and turns.
Loved Frank’s ghost pals (especially the Judge) and Jeffery Combs’ Dammers. Seeing the grim reaper slice and dice with the sickle while leaping from roof to roof was a good time. Hate how dated the graphics have become but it still holds its charm as a fun ride. Jake Busy for the win as well.
