You know this movie but do you remember how chilling and subtle it is? Seeing dead people is one thing but the way they haunt and just exist outside the periphery was fantastic. Bruce Willis and M. Night Shymalalan are a great pairing and this was the magical outcome of that igniting not to mention the sprinkling of Toni Collette over the top and a nice layer of ghostly frosting.
Loved the undead and their creepy-ass pleas for help. Hated the ostracizing of Cole by those punk-ass bullies. Always gets me angry to see kids get picked on like that. Especially for having a gift. I once was given a swirly for drawing a pretty sick house in 6th grade so I know what I’m talking about.
