An expansive view of a timeline left to rot in on itself until it’s nothing but a moss covered infected. More of an homage to Miyazakian visuals and a thematic relevance to the og and less a continuation of my beloved franchise, this movie sits. But my opinion is this:… “Hmm?”

Ok. Holy cow they tried and…what?
It was a beautiful adaptation of a continuation of a story that had nothing to do with 28 Days Later. Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. What I wanted in my 28 Days Later franchise? Maybe less beautiful and more like my sangria; watered down but spicy enough to work.
Loved that it opened into chaos like its predecessors and really appreciate the Godspeed You! deviations at the end.
