“Chopping Mall” is what happens when 1980s mall security gets replaced by murder Roombas (doombas?) and nobody checks the return policy. I watched it with a glass (okay, three glasses) of sangria, which really helped me process the fact that these killer robots had better aim than most action heroes. There’s lasers, explosions, and hairspray so flammable it deserves its own credit. It’s campy, chaotic, and the perfect movie to sip(chug) sangria to—because if you’re going to get zapped by a robot in a mall, you might as well die fabulous. Cheers, shoppers!
