I sat down with a glass of sangria to watch Thinner and figured, “Hey, a Stephen King curse can be funeral.” Three sips later, the guy’s shedding pounds faster than my New Year’s resolutions. By the second glass, I was starting to wonder if my sangria was cursed too—because I swear the glass kept refilling itself.
This movie is basically Weight Watchers meets witchcraft: one bite of pie and your scale screams in terror. I laughed, I cringed, I checked my fridge for gypsy pies.
