You know what? I didn’t ask for this. In a classic sense, when a full-moon induced attack makes Larry Talbot a Gypsy-cursed monster, I’m sold. If I wanted it changed drastically, I would’ve asked for Dog Soldiers.
When a matriarch gets bit by a wolfmins, he slowly turns wolfish while helping his family from the wolfesque one that bit him in the first place… I meant for that to be boringly simple, uninteresting and deviated like how it played out. No longer do I trust Whanell with horror. Don’t tell anyone, but I didn’t even really like the invisible man reboot. Kinda took away all the fun and left it stripped down and transparently boring. Like watching a movie called Wolfman and it being about a somber dad turning into a hobo.
I loved the make up effects (where applicable) and the actual changing and fighting scenes were a blast but what the hell is this in my sangria? …a bug or hopefully, like, some grapefruit pulp? I don’t know but I’m grabbing a new cup.
